Jamie is beyond AMAZING! She explains everything and takes time with picking out the right jewelry and the whole process. The aftercare is great! I had a jewelry change and my nose had some inflammation, it was almost gone in less than 24 hours. Atmosphere is so cool and very clean! I will be going back to get my daith piercing. There's only one thing I want to say. I was pierced over 10+ years ago. This was my very first non ear piercing, my belly button. It was for my birthday. All I can say is this is the place I will always remember as the best experience I've ever had note I now have had 22 piercings and let me tell you their advice, the laughs, when they still were I maplewood mall is something I'll always cherish. Also note that the belly button piercing has not migrated, and was pierced perfectly straight after all of these years and torment I put it through. Thank you.

Jamie is by far the best piercer I have ever had!  I came to her for a lip piercing and expressed that while I wanted to switch to a hoop eventually, I know that I heal much better with studs.  Jamie took the time to not only find the perfect placement for my stud, but to also check several times that it would work for, and look good with, a hoop.  Her attention to detail and kindness is unmatched.  You can really tell she cares about each of her clients. I just got my piercing today and have already recommended her to several people.  I definitely will be coming back to Jamie!

I cannot stress how amazing j.me is, she really knows how to make getting a piercing stress-free and fun! I just got 3 scaffold piercings from her and even though it was 3 at once she made sure I was okay throughout the process and went quick enough that it didn't hurt as much as I had anticipated. I went here years ago to get my tongue pierced. I love it so much so I went back to get my septum done about a year ago and went again to get my nipples done the other day. Jamie is awesome, she was so nice when I went there. The place is very clean, and organized. She goes through a whole process of the aftercare which is super helpful and the jewelry options are cute. I got my nipples pierced and she was super quick and it did not hurt as bad as I thought it would. I got a nipple piercing redone after trying to get it to heal right for two years.

J.me looked at where the piercing had been and we decided it was healed and could be redone. I was nervous to have it pierced again due to my struggles with it last time but she walked me though my concerns with the healing process and answered all of my questions. I went in to get a consult if my earlobes could be re-pierced. I had them pierced when I was a child but they 'closed' when I took the earrings out for chemistry lab in college. She was so knowledgeable and professional I immediately felt at ease in her office. I didn't need to re-pierce my ears at all! She was able to show me that my holes had just shrunk. She fitted me with new stud earrings in no time flat! I highly recommend her services. The pricing is fair and she offers a variety of different piercings (studs,hoops, rings, etc.) to chose from in different cost categories.

We were above and beyond pleased with our experience with you!  Katie experienced little if any pain/discomfort during the actual piercing of her ears, and she was so happy to have had it done (she’d been waiting for quite some time while we searched for a professional piercer we felt comfortable with!). My husband and our younger daughter truly enjoyed visiting with your husband and business partner, and I genuinely appreciated your calm demeanor and support as Katie’s mom toward worrying less while she had her piercing done. Your business is impeccably clean and sanitary, all of you were professional, sociable, and so kind! And I truly wondered if my husband was going to stay there and hang out with your husband all day instead of leave with the rest of us. We really enjoyed just meeting you both and visiting, which was an unexpected perk!  Katie’s ears continue to do well, and she has been religious with her care routine. We’re quite proud of her—we weren’t sure how she would handle all of it but she’s done very well!  

Thank you also for encouraging me to try the medical grade stainless steel earrings!  You were right!, they don’t bother my ears, which feels miraculous!!  I did notice that my ears and the earrings weee sort of stinky after the first wear (which was my first time wearing earrings at all for likely over a year) so I took to doing the same process you have Katie doing for her new piercings and that seems to be effective!

I've been to four other piercing places, and this by far the BEST. J.me is so knowledgeable and TRUTHFUL about what you are getting, how it's going to affect you and everything. Over the past 7 years I have received 17 piercings form J.me! First at the mall location then I followed her over to her newer location! I trust her and only her to pierce me! I went to Fraidy Cats on 8/6 to get my nose pierced. It was my birthday and I used the birthday special. The staff was very nice and congratulated me on my birthday. This was my first nose piercing so I was pretty scared but Jamie was SOOO extremely helpful and calming. She joked around with me and explained everything in detail. I could tell she really loved her job and cared about her clients. I was very picky and she did not seem annoyed or anything, she had no problem marking and remarking my nose and letting me try on a nose ring to see how it looked. She was very professional and everything was very organized and clean. I really appreciated her patience and professionalism. The piercing was quick and barely hurt. It was exactly where I wanted it and looked better than I expected. Truly the best experience I've had and I'm not just talking about the body piercing aspect of it. I've wanted to get my belly button pierced for a while now, and came across her website on the Internet. When I came in, I was greeted very nicely, and she talked to me about the different jewelry options. She was very honest and knowledgeable when it came to these options, and gave me good information on both. She walked me through all aftercare do's and dont's, and really likes to make sure you understand how to keep your new piercing clean, and she provided me with samples of products she suggests. For someone like me, who's not knowledgeable with piercings at all, it was very helpful and put me at ease. Now I don't want to mislead, because everyone has different pain levels, but I have to say I was VERY surprised with how little pain this piercing gave me. She will make sure your piercing is placed perfectly, because she actually cares about how you feel and how it will look. She puts time into making sure her markings are just right. The piercing part itself is quick. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. She is very kind, cares about you and your piercing, and tells you just about everything you'll need to know about aftercare. She truly cares. I felt calm and comfortable the whole time, and that's saying something because this was my first body piercing other than my ears. I haven't gone anywhere else, but I don't need to, in order to know she's the best!

If I could give Jamie 100 out of 5 stars I would! I recently got my nipples pierced by Jamie and My overall experience was so Amazing! Jamie is so good at what she does and she is very professional and friendly. I went in the shop feeling so nervous and so scared and Jamie was so comforting and nice during the whole process, she makes you feel like you are a friend and not just a customer. She made the whole piercing a breeze, I didn't feel any pain because she made it go so quick! Jamie made me feel so comfortable inside my own skin. The environment of her shop was very comfortable and clean and it was surrounded with nothing but good feelings. Jamie is an amazing piercer who cares so much about her customers and she makes sure that you feel like a first priority. She is very throrough and she makes sure to explain everything to you so that you know what she is doing. She gave detailed information about proper aftercare and the process of healing. I am going to keep going to Jamie for the rest of my piercings and I will recommend her to any of my friends who are interested in getting a piercing.

Jamie loves her job, and I can tell. She is so nice to her clients, and how nice she is makes me want to keep coming back. She is the sweetest thing. She knows how to relax a person when they might be scared to get a piercing. She explains the process, and she is specific. She is creative, and she has her own technique. I am happy that I went to her for all my piercings. Jamie did my boyfriends eyebrow piercing, and he is glad he came to her for his piercing. He felt comfortable because I told him she was good at her job, and she was nice. He saw it for himself when we went into Fraidy Cats. Clean, professional, and a nice environment.

I had my angelbites pierced on Saturday, March 5. It was my second time at Fraidy Cats'. Words like wonderful, terrific, fantastic, phenomenal and excellent do not even begin to describe my experience. The place is extremely welcoming and cozy, yet clean and professional. Tom is a goldmine of information about the piercings you want and is tremendously polite to all clients, not to mention his great sense of humor. J.me is the absolute epitome of a perfect piercer. She is friendly, lovable and of course incredibly educated about the art of piercing. She is guaranteed to make the experience infinitely more comfortable for anxious clients. I ended up getting a discount for my piercings, as well, for allowing a young girl to go ahead of me to have her ears pierced. J.me also gave me an extra pair of Monroe studs and a pair of fixed bead rings for free. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to be pierced in a sterile, safe and friendly environment by someone who will not judge them and genuinely cares about giving the best possible experience, and results. I will most certainly be returning in the future.

After a previous navel piercing did not work out, I came to Fraidy Cats' to get it re-pierced. Jamie gave me so much more information on piercing care than any previous piercer had. She took time to mark where she would pierce me, and didn't rush through anything. She explained each step of the process to me, and let me know exactly what she was doing. Jamie is incredible!! I came in today to get my nose pierced and she was so knowledgeable, informative and KIND! She and the other staff member were so welcoming! I went in yesterday to get an industrial and a navel piercing and Jamie and the guy working behind the desk were both very nice and knowledgeable. I had to wait for about an hour to actually get pierced because it was very busy, but I didn't mind! I highly recommend this piercing place.

Jamie is the best when it comes to piercings! When I had gone in for my nose piercing, not only did she explain everything thoroughly, she even took the time to look at my daughters nose piercing and found that the place that had pierced her nose used incorrect jewelry, so she switched it out. I have since been back to have my tragus and rook done & I love it!!!! I will be bringing my daughter in soon to have her tragus done and I also plan on having her do more piercings for me. So, you have teenager who wants a piercing (or two, or three). You find all kinds of horror stories online about infection and other complications, enough that you use this to argue against your child's fashion interest. You envision seedy establishments with bad hygiene. If this is you, go to this shop and be prepared to give in! The place is very professional and welcoming. I listened to every detail of the description of my daughter's new piercings (earlobe thirds and a rook), particularly the aftercare instructions. I have lectured university level microbiology and infection control for 25 years; I could not have done a better job myself! The staff was phenomenal! They insist on aftercare contact if there are issues with your piercings; this came across as a real commitment to craft I rarely see in any business. So, you may not want your kid to get a piercing for many reasons, but if you want them to go someplace safe and comfortable, this is it! For adults with an interest in deeper body piercings, I'm sure you would find this place as good as it gets.

I got my nipples pierced by Jamie and it was absolutely amazing. The moment I walked In the door I felt comfortable in my environment. She is exactly the type of person I want to pierce me. When I go back for more piercings I'm coming here for sure. I got both of my nipples pierced close to a week ago now. Jme made me feel very comfortable, and made sure that I was okay with every step she took. The piercings were quick, and didn't hurt as bad as what I had originally thought. She made sure I had a clear understanding of aftercare, and even suggested products that would benefit the healing process. She made sure that if any questions were to arise that I contact her for best input. I've always gone to her for my piercings, as I will continue to do so.

I went to Fraidy Cats after reading the great reviews online. When I walked in it was a inviting environment and kind of busy.  Although most of the customers were there to get help with their previous piercings. Jamie clearly explained how to take care of the piercing and gave me some free samples. I could tell that she is very knowledgeable about piercings. She explained that my naval was oddly shaped and could end up looking weird. Although, I decided go through with it and it ended  up looking great. Throughout the healing process  you can contact her with any problems or questions. Overall,  I could tell she cares alot about her clients and running a great business.

Today I went and got my navel and ear cartilage pierced and she gave me a great discount and talked to me more like a friend than a customer. I got my belly button pierced yesterday by J.me and it is amazing. I was nervous to get it done because I have a low pain tolerance but J.me made it virtually painless it was amazing! I'm not from here but really wanted to get it done before I left to go back home and I'm glad I did! I did some research and knew this was the place to go and I'm so glad I did because no place at home would have been as amazing as J.me. J.me also took her time and made sure not only she was happy where it was positioned but me as well. Also J.me and Tom made it clear what ring was best and how to properly clean my piercing. J.me was also very helpful when it came to my question of what shop (if any she knew of) to go if I happen to have any problems. She didn't know of any but told me if I have problems to contact her, send a pic, then she would research stores in my area and suggest the best place to go to! J.me was awesome I went in to get my lip re-pierced and she ended up getting my jewelry in not only my lip but also in both my tragus and only charged me for jewelry had I went anywhere else that wouldn't have happened they would have re-pierced it and charged me for it. J.me is super friendly and cares about her clients, in the past she's helped me with piercings she didn't pierce. Definitely going back.
