WHAT PIERCING SERVICES DOES FRAIDY CATS OFFER?
Fraidy Cats offers body piercings and jewelry services, including jewelry changes, downsizing and in store jewelry shopping. Earlobe piercings are offered for ages 10 and up. Most other piercings are available for individuals 15 and older. In some cases, we may make exceptions for 14 year olds after an in-person consultation. Read the Pricing & Specials page for a list of piercings offered.

DO YOU OFFER TATTOOING?
Tattoos by Marco and Tattoos by Emiliano are located inside Fraidy Cats. They offer tattoos by appointment only. Social media and contact information are located on the first page of the website.

DO I NEED IDENTIFICATION TO GET A PIERCING?
Before coming in or scheduling an appointment please read the State ID Requirements page set in place by the State of MN. The State is very strict about what we are allowed to accept. Without ALL the required original and valid identification we cannot legally pierce. Feel free to call if you have questions.

HOW MUCH DOES A PIERCING COST?
Single piercings start at $40 (piercing)
+
$35 (titanium jewelry w/ ball)
=
$75 (total with piercing & jewelry)
Upgraded jewelry options are available for an additional cost. Discounts are given for multiple piercings on the same person.

DO YOU TAKE APPOINTMENTS OR WALK-INS?
We welcome walk-ins for piercings and jewelry changes. The last walk-in is taken 1 hour before close, or as time permits on busy days. We are returning to being a walk-in only studio due to excessive no-shows, same-day cancellations, and late arrivals. Appointments will only be taken for those who truly need one by direct email request and prepayment.

HOW MANY PIERCINGS CAN I GET AT ONE TIME?
A max of 3-4 piercings per visit is suggested.

Fraidy Cats offers implant grade titanium and gold body jewelry options in studio and by special order from jewelers such as Anatometal, Buddha Jewelry, Divinity Metals, Instrinsic, Junipurr, Khrysos, LeRoi, , NeoMetal, People's Jewelry, & Tether.

WHAT PAYMENT TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT?
We gladly accept cash, as well as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Apple Pay for your convenience.
If you’re able to pay with cash, it’s a wonderful way to support small businesses. Credit card processing fees can really add up, and since cash doesn’t come with those extra fees, it helps us keep our costs and your prices as low as possible without compromising quality or safety.

There is free street parking in the area.

IS FRAIDY CATS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Fraidy Cats lobby, piercing room, tattooing area, bathroom and hallways are all wheelchair accessible. There is street parking available with access to curb ramps at the corner of Smith Ave and Annapolis St. The front door is not automatic.
