WHAT PIERCING SERVICES DOES FRAIDY CATS OFFER?
Fraidy Cats offers body piercings and jewelry services, including jewelry changes, downsizing and in store jewelry shopping. Earlobe piercings are offered for ages 10 and up. Most other piercings are available for individuals 15 and older. In some cases, we may make exceptions for 14 year olds after an in person consultation. Read the Pricing & Specials page for a list of piercings offered.

DO YOU OFFER TATTOOING?
Tattoos by Marco and Tattoos by Emiliano are located inside Fraidy Cats. They offer tattoos by appointment only. Social media and contact information are located on the first page of the website.

DO I NEED IDENTIFICATION TO GET A PIERCING?
Before coming in or scheduling an appointment please read the State ID Requirements page set in place by the State of MN. The State is very strict about what we are allowed to accept. Without ALL the required original and valid identification we cannot legally pierce. Feel free to call if you have questions.

HOW MUCH DOES A PIERCING COST?
Single piercings start at $75 total. Price includes both the piercing and titanium jewelry with a classic ball. Upgraded jewelry options are available for an additional cost. Discounts of at least $10 are given for multiple piercings on the same person.

DO YOU TAKE APPOINTMENTS OR WALK-INS?
Walk-ins
We offer walk-ins for piercings, jewelry purchases, and jewelry insertion services. Last walk-ins are taken 1 hour before close, or as time permits on busier days.
Appointments
At this time, we’ve decided to wait on reintroducing appointments. While this was something we were planning to implement, with everything happening in Minnesota right now, this doesn’t feel like the right moment to make changes to our current operations.
Our team is navigating a lot, and we believe it’s important to be thoughtful and realistic about our capacity. We appreciate your understanding and continued support, and we’ll share updates when this changes in the future.

HOW MANY PIERCINGS CAN I GET AT ONE TIME?
A max of 3-4 piercings per visit is suggested. Trying to heal too many piercings at one time can make it challenging to heal.

Fraidy Cats offers implant grade titanium and gold body jewelry options in studio and by special order from jewelers such as Anatometal, Buddha Jewelry, Divinity Metals, Instrinsic, Junipurr, Khrysos, LeRoi, , NeoMetal, People's Jewelry, & Tether.

WHAT PAYMENT TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT?
Cash doesn't charge us fees. Card fees increase costs for small businesses. If yuo can help small business's keep your costs lower by paying with cash. We still take Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, & Apple Pay.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
There is free street parking in the area.

IS FRAIDY CATS WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Fraidy Cats lobby, piercing room, tattooing area, bathroom and hallways are all wheelchair accessible. There is street parking available with access to curb ramps at the corner of Smith Ave and Annapolis St. The front door is not automatic.
